Why should I take the PMP exam prep course?

This course is intended for anyone preparing to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam based on the PMBOK® Guide – Fifth Edition. This course will satisfy the project management training portion of the PMP examination requirements; it will broaden the students understanding of all the knowledge areas of the PMBOK® Guide; and it will prepare students for the PMP certification exam.

What are the course prerequisites?

You must purchase “ A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge”, (PMBOK® Guide) - Fifth Edition and read it prior to attending the course.

Will I get the PMP certification from this course?

No. To obtain the certification, a project manager must satisfy PMI experience, education and examination requirements. PMI requires a minimum of 4500 hours of project management experience with an under-graduate degree (or 7500 hours of project management experience without an undergraduate degree), 36 contact hours of project management training and the passing of the PMP certification exam

Which exam is included in this course?

This course doesn’t include an exam. Contact your local PMI chapter for PMP exam dates and fees.

Where is the class held?

Our courses are held at quality downtown venues in all major Canadian cities. You will be close to transport links and parking.

What are the class hours?

  • Day 1 -> Day 4: 8.30 AM to 4:30 PM

Does the course include the PMP exam fees?

This course does not include the PMP exam fees. They must be paid directly to PMI as part of the application process.

How soon after the course should I take the exam?

About five to ten days after the course. The boot camp contains a lot of information. You should plan a pause and then study some more after class to make sure you are ready to the PMP exam.

How many PDUs do I get for this course?

PMPs can claim 35 PDUs at the PMI for the PMP exam prep boot camp. (35 Technical PDUs)
You will receive a certificate of completion indicating that you completed the course and earned the 35 contact hours required to take the certification exam.
